Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian Review
I like the puzzles in the games and having to find hidden items, but it is sometimes hard to manipulate character views — which makes some of the puzzles more frustrating than they should be. There are multiple tasks & awards as well as info on various historical figures or museum pieces. There are areas that differ from the movie, but I’ve yet to reach the end (still stuck in the hangar with Earhardt). Still, I like to play the game.

Get ready for a story so epic it could only unfold in the corridors of the worldâs largest museum – the Smithsonian Institution. Museum guard-turned entrepreneur Larry Daly discovers that his favorite exhibits, and some of his best friends, from New Yorkâs Natural History Museum are being shipped off to the archives at the Smithsonian. A Heart for the peaceful Gamer
The XBox360 has always had an open mind fort he Hardcore-Gamer, but there has been a new targeted audience in the bull’s eye of the developers and publishers of games: The casual gamer. And we all know that playing Non Shooter Games and Non Violent Games can be a lot of fun, also. In this very field a nice form of Franchise has been noticed. It started with LEGO Star Wars and continued with LEGO Batman and LEGO Indiana Jones. The latter has been especially appreciated by gamers, a well established gamers community ranked the guy with the leather jacked and the wip on place 3. Jump ‘n Run of it’s finest kind. But the first two ranks are taken by two of the Musicgames Genres , from which we have seen quite a few lately. It started with the plastic guitar controller, and Guitar Hero scored real well. But that wasn’t the end. Rock Band started to enjoy the masses, now guitars, mikes and drum sets wanted to be played, as well. Activision followed suit in Guitar Hero: World Tour and this games secured the second place. King of the genres became Rock Band by Electronic Arts, who followed with a sequel in 2008 with

Epic and well done Role Games are still a scarcity on the MS-Console. But these games are on the go and a few gems have made their way into the Xbox 360 shelves in 2008. Especially when regarding Japano-Role games. Probably the most loved game within the Asian genre was Lost Odyssey, an epic fairy tale about the immortal hero Kaim, on a quest to his long lost memories, thus taking rank 3. It covers a total of four (!) DVDs and runs exclusively on the Xbox 360.
The Games-Tale Teller Peter Molyneux has presented one of his highly recommended (by him, that is…) Games. Again exclusively for the Xbox 360 we got the sequel of the famous Xbox-Game Fable. A fairy tale story and with somewhat irritating Sims-Elements are what this game is all about. The fans loved it nevertheless and its not really a bad game, too. Rank 2 for Fable 2.
All the way up to number one shot a special title, being number one contestant fort he game of the year: Fallout 3. The adventures of the little Vault-inhabitant, right across the post apocalyptic wastelands of Washington D.C. has made a lot of fans at the end of the year.
Sports Games in 2008
Now where would the Games World be without great Sports Games? In this genre there were a lot of very good titles we could not include in our little ranking. Position 3 is shared by two games. First of the third round of Top Spin, loved by tennis fans. That also goes for all the American Football Fans with Madden NFL 09, which came across with more innovations in 2008. In Europe, the first two positions went to: 2. Rank: Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 and NHL 09 / NHL 2K9.The winner, with 79% of the votes. was: FIFA 09. But other games of different sports made their appearance in 2008, like NBA Live 09 and NBA 2K9. Even golfers got their share of very good games with Tiger Woods PGA Tour Golf 09.
Lets look at the “Racers”. Not only the motor sport simulations but arcade-like “pedal to the metal” games went big time last year.These Fun Racers are the most liked ones. Back in 2007 Colin McRae: DIRT went into the charts and did real well. Followed in 2008 by the same team, Race Driver GRID, impressed its fans. Very cool street racings with a hot graphic helped this game to score number 3. A small but very nice game surprised the Xbox 360 Community: Pure. Speeding through the boonies with a Quad, spectacular and acrobatic-tricks with monster-jumps! Pure fun for just about anyone and therefore position 3 in the Racer category. And also in the “Surprises of the Year”!
But there’s no end in sight. Developer Criterion has made an impact with the Burnout – series years ago. Part 4 of the series hit the ground running, just like: Burnout Paradise. The mixture of “Open Reality”, breathtaking speed with reckless jumps and a lot of fender benders still holds it’s fans. Maybe another reason is the free updates with worthwhile goodies that are delivered on a timely basis. So, the number one position goes to the Racer-Town “Paradise City”.

Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer Review
Back when I was young – being Superman was the thing – but later as I learned the Super Hero universe was huge – The Human Torch – was always a good runner up to the Man of Steel!
Wii has introduced a game that is not only fun, challenging and visually interesting – but one that allows you to be all the team! You can switch from The Invisible Girl to The Thing to Mr. Fantastic to The Human Torch.
Fighting villians and henchman and figuring out puzzels and powers and various movements of all kinds to get you to the secret missions and solve the evil plans of Dr. Doom – that is your goal! The movements and transition of the characters are way too cool as well. Playing with more than one person is really more fun – because the system knows exactly how to keep up to all of the four players very busy!
There are levels to achieve as well as points and mission objectives to master and when your game objectives are reached – your abilities change and become even more stronger.
The graphics are detail;ed and very futuristic and the game play is fun and smooth. There are points that could be made clearer in terms of the story when you are trying to think of what to do next – but when you step away – some of the answers to the puzzels are pretty obvious. That would be my only down-side. And – It’s not a game about blood and guts either – which I like very much – although there is a lot of fighting and enemy attacks!
I like this game a lot. The on-screen prompts will guide you as well as some hysterical comments made by the Fantastic Four team themselves. I think that all kids and adults of all ages will like this one and play it often.
If you like action, adventure, puzzel solving and mission objective gaming – this one is for you. The music and graphics only enhance the entire experience of paly. Go get it! “Flame on!” 6-9-10

You want to burn your Xbox 360 game, but you don’t know how to backup or copy your Xbox 360 game, right? To get your Xbox 360 games copied or burned, you will need to have a game copying software which takes out the protection that’s on your games.
You see, in order to get your games copied, you will need to decode or decrypt the protection code that’s on any of your games. To do this, I highly recommend you to take the Easy Backup Wizard.
How To Burn And Copy An Xbox 360 Game?
To burn a Xbox 360 game, you will need to have only 4 things that are easy to get.
1 – You need the Easy Backup Wizard.
2 – You need a DVD burner in your PC.
3 – You need an empty DVD disk.
4 – You need an original Xbox 360 game.
So, once you’ve got all the 4 things that you must have in order to copy, backup and burn your Xbox 360 games, then you only have to perform 5 steps in order to successfully complete the burning, copying and backing up process!
1 – Grab the original game‘s disk, and put it into your DVD drive in your PC.
2 – Start up the program, and load the original game.
3 – Make a backup from the original game and save it on your PC.
4 – Take out the original game, and replace it with an empty DVD disk.
5 – Copy and paste the backup files to your burner, and simply start the burning process.

Xbox 360 Power Pyramid Charger – Charging and Storage Dock for Game Controllers – Black Review
Whenever a battery dies in an Xbox 360 controller my kids give me grief, so this keeps them happy as their controllers are always fully charged now.
The stand looks very different and futuristic, the black color matches my Xbox Elite. (As we have controllers in black, white and pink the aesthetics do vary when fully loaded). There is an LED on each connector so when a controller is charging they are red and when fully charged they are blue (you can see this in one of the pictures). You may want to keep this out of your line of sight if using it in a darkened room. The stand can be a tad unstable when you are adding or removing a controller when fully loaded.
My only real gripe is that I would like a smarter power supply: one that turns the whole thing off when everything is charged.
Note there are different models for PS3, Xbox, and one that handles both types. I used the Xbox-only version.
